Choose November's Classical Book Club read!
Help choose the Classical Book Club's read for November.
Hey!
Thanks to all those of you who took part in the first edition of the Classical Book Club. I certainly hope you enjoyed reading and discussing Frankenstein as much as I have.
I appreciate that there is a little work to do on refining the format and the timings (I do have some ideas for this, but if you have any then please message me on Substack!), and so for November’s read we are going to discuss it on Sunday December 1st - exact time to be confirmed!
The plan will be to read a manageable length novel in November (since we’ll have three and a half weeks to read and finish) and then, if all goes to plan, a Christmas novel in December (again, one that’s manageable within the timeframe).
As a quick FYI, those of you who took part in and engaged in the chat with the October read should all be set up with a lifetime paid subscription to the book club, completely free. If I’ve missed you - please let me know!
I’d like to select December’s book in advance of the next discussion because it will mean a short reading time in order to discuss pre-Christmas. I am completely open to suggestions for reads for this month. Start thinking, because I’m going to allow you to share your ideas when I announce November’s read this Wednesday.
November’s Book Selection!
For November’s read, I’ve put together four options for you. For the synopsis of each novel, please have a read at the information below the poll - all of these are taken from Goodreads or Amazon descriptions.
You have until 9pm GMT/4pm ET Tuesday (tomorrow) 5th November for your vote to count - that’s just over 24 hours!
